As 2011 comes to an end I am reminded of all the wonderful memories that you ALL helped to create this year!! At this time I would just like to reflect on some of the exciting things happening in and around the Berlin camp in the last 12 months.We had a phenomenal time on the road all throughout the year and an especially incredible time last summer on tour with INXS! Our drummer Chris Olivas and his fiancée had a beautiful baby boy, and I had a great time working with John King of the Dust Brothers writing and recording new music (you heard one of the songs if you came to a show this year, Break The Chains. Thank you for the great response!). I had to leave the podcast, Between The Sheets, but then a month later an opportunity came along that I've dreamed of my whole life: my own weekly radio show on an LA radio station! KCSN 88.5 every Saturday night 7-9pm starting January 14th!! Tune in (or stream it at KCSN.org), it'll be a unique show. More details to come! I can't wait to unveil everything else we have in store for 2012. But for now, ifanyone would like to share in the holiday cheer, I want to invite you all to share your favorite memory of 2011. Before this Christmas season is through, I want to wish you all the beautiful holiday that you deserve.  This one has been special already for me; thanks to all of your support and love, I’ve had a very successful year.  I was able and honored this past Friday to throw a big holiday party for my friends and loved ones.  Also one of my good friends just brought home her new adopted daughter from Russia yesterday, as I did 4 years ago.  I was able to host a shower/coming home party for her.  The little 20 month old girl lost her mother and was sent to an orphanage.  Now she has a new family, and a new life.  Miracles DO happen all the time!!

I am so lucky this year 2009 to be extremely inspired by my new recording and producing partner, Carlton Bost.   We’re almost finished with our first studio album of new songs in 6 years, and if all continues well, we’ll be releasing it in 2010. 

I’m also inspired by my new manager, Gaye Ann Bruno, who’s broadened my horizons and opened new doors for the band and for me.  One of them is a new fricking FUN TV show I shot that’s season premiering in February 2010, RuPaul’s “DRAG RACE!”  More details soon so STAY TUNED!!

I look forward to seeing lots of you at the ..Salt Lake City.. show December 10 and The Canyon show in my hometown of ....Agoura Hills.. ..CA.... December 11.  We’ll play not only the hits and songs from the new DVD/CD package, “ALL THE WAY IN,” that came out this year, but also one or two brand new songs that haven’t been released yet.  Not to mention a new Christmas song or two that we hope you enjoy, and a SURPRISE GUEST!

Fuel Label Group Produces Live Music DVD and CD for Award Winning Singer Terri Nunn and her band Berlin.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Fuel Label Group has entered in an agreement with Award winning singer Terri Nunn & Berlin (www.berlinpage.com) to produce a LIVE DVD and CD of their performance at the HOUSE OF BLUES – SUNSET in WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA on April 4, 2009.

The performance will be recorded live and be a full length concert DVD and Live Audio CD of the show tentatively entitled TERRI NUNN featuring BERLIN at the HOUSE OF BLUES – LIVE. Terri Nunn, Carlton Bost and Dave Schulz recorded the first ever acoustic version of "Sex (I'm A)" for a new documentary, NAKED AMBITION! The documentary is about the making of the photography book of the same name, a book about the porn industry. The song will be mixed by Steve Berlin (Faith No More, Rickie Lee Jones, REM). Terri wrote some new lyrics for this version, which might also be made available soon for download on iTunes.

Terri and Mitchell won a BMI Award for their song "Scream" from the album 4Play!

It's an award for Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting for Film & Television.  The song was used as the theme song for the TV drama "Angela's Eyes" on the Lifetime network.  The awards were presented at the BMI Film/TV Awards in Los Angeles on May 16th, 2007.   http://www.bmi.com/news/entry/534992

On Saturday, October 14th, 2006, The Canyon Club, in conjunction with the Malibu/Lost Hill's Sheriff's Station, is hosting a concert/fundraiser for Deputy Jim Mulay. Deputy Mulay was critically injured during the attempted apprehension of an armed bank robbery suspect on August 28th, 2006, in the city of Malibu.

John Crawford has released a new CD called "8 Days."    This is his second release since the VH1 "Bands Reunited" show in 2004.  Both of his CD's, and insight on the early days of Berlin are available on his site at http://www.crawfordmusic.net .

Happy 10th Birthday to the Berlin Fan Page!

The Berlin Fan Page was started in May of 1996 by RJA of Dayton, Ohio and was called "RJA's Berlin Page."

It contained one page with a discography for one of RJA's favorite bands.

About the same time, "scotto" in Carlsbad, California was looking for information about one of his favorite vocalist and stumbled across this page. In the early days there was very little information because it only came from RJA and scotto.

In the fall of 1996 Terri Nunn reformed Berlin and started touring in Southern California.

As the word got out and people started finding the berlinpage, fan submissions of all kinds poured into the page. As the content grew, RJA's monthly hosting bill started to rival the national debt. scotto provided web space on one of his servers and RJA maintained it from Ohio.

More fans and some past band members started to find the page and submit material, and the content continued to grow. scotto started to help maintain the page.

Over the years the berlinpage has grown to over 30GB worth of content, almost all has been fan submitted.

The maintainence of the page was beginning to be a major chore. Everything was hand coded and was taking a lot of time out of RJA and scotto's schedule. Both webmasters have full time jobs and the page maintainence was beginning to be overwhelming.

In November of 2001 a complete re-write of the berlinpage was started. The hope was to present the content in a more organized form and make the page easier to maintain. The berlinpage v2 went live on May 15, 2002.

New dates posted for Las Vegas and Cabazon (Near Palm Springs).  More dates coming, check back often.

A new message board has been installed. Please check it out and let us know what you think.

The Vault show in Long Beach has been rescheduled from 5/27 to 6/3. 

The message board is down due to technical difficulties.  We hope to have the old board or a replacement up in the near future.

The New Years Eve show featuring Berlin and Bow Wow Wow will be airing the week of February 6th on various Cox and Adelphia local access channels.  We're working on getting firm dates and times.  More information to follow as it becomes available.

Two new shows have been posted for Southern California.  Both are great venues so get your tickets early. 

Terri and the band will be live on the Indie 103.1 FM (http://www.indie1031.com) morning show with Dicky Barrett.  The show will be Wednesday, December 21st at 9AM Pacific Time.  They will be playing songs from the new album and playing some in-studio acoustic songs.

Berlin founder John Crawford has launched a newly re-designed web site.  In addition to the new look and feel, there are also sound clips of all the tracks on his newly available CD, "Surrender."  Visit his new site at http://www.crawfordmusic.net and check out his new music.

I get to sing with Camp Freddy again!  It's the 10th Anniversary celebration of the Hard Rock in Las Vegas!!  It's a free show, and we go on after Nine Inch Nails plays their show at the Joint in the hotel.  We're in a nightclub also in the hotel, and there are close to 20 artists Camp Freddy's invited to perform.  Macy Gray, Annabella Lwin from Bow Wow Wow, Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains and me are 4 that I know of confirmed.  I'll be singing with Jerry that night!  It's Saturday night, April 30, and if you get there by 10:30pm when they open the doors, you're guaranteed to get in.  After the place fills to capacity, they'll close the doors.  I hope to see you there!!  It will be an AWESOME SHOW!!!

Work has started on a new album containing Berlin's favorite songs by their favorite artists.  All of those songs played in concert over the years will finally be available on CD!!  Artists include David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode, Marilyn Manson and more!  It will also include two new bonus songs from Berlin's upcoming studio album!!

Target release date is in May.  Check back often for updates!

A new VH1 series that Terri guested on and hosted, The Love Lounge, is premiering a week from Sunday, March 27 at 11pm!  It's on late because it's a very frank - and fun - discussion about sexuality - in art, in life, and in America.

Terri said: "This is the station that's giving you Flava Flav and Brigitte Nielsen right now, so it might be cut to crap.  But at the time it was highly candid, sometimes insightful and other times funny.  I hope they left it that way."

This moment was absolutely spectacular for me. It's with Camp Freddy, which is Dave Navarro and Chris Chaney from Jane's Addiction, Matt Sorum from Guns N Roses/Velvet Revolver, Billy Morrison from The Cult and Donovan Leitch. We did a Tsunami benefit at the Key Club January 27, 2005. There were a lot of amazing guests playing that night and one of them was Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains). How I came about doing Man In The Box with him was that during soundcheck at the previous Camp Freddy show, he ran Man In The Box with the band. They sound AMAZING doing it, it was HUGE! But when the chorus came up, that screaming high "Feed my eyes! Jesus Christ! He who tries..." etc, he didn't sing, just played guitar.

Well I think this is one of the greatest songs in the history of life, so I'm standing there listening, screaming that chorus. They couldn't hear me because they were so loud but Jerry saw me doing it and said from the stage "You want to sing it?" I froze. He said, "Come on, get your ass up here and do it with me." Holy FUCK. I took a deep breath and went up there.

I've never come all over myself for a whole day but I did that day. These are moments you get from God once in awhile, moments worth coming to Earth for. You can't force them to happen no matter how rich or successful or good at what you do you get. I thank Mark Racco for capturing this moment onstage, and all the guys in the band and Jerry Cantrell for allowing me to share this with you.

The Tsunami disaster is mind-boggling.  It freaked me out the day after it happened, when they estimated 11,000 people were killed!  Then it just kept going up from there!!  The only blessing I can find in this so far is the whole world is coming together to help.  What America is doing is making me proud of us, which I haven't been for awhile since the Iraq war.  We are really contributing.  The whole world is.

Stay tuned!  We'll be auctioning a Berlin Pleasure Victim gold record, from Paul Spear's personal collection (signed to the winner by Terri Nunn) and sets of classic vintage Berlin publicity photos from Terri's private collection, also personally autographed to the winners by Terri Nunn.  All proceeds will go directly to one of the charity organizations below.  We'll let you know as soon as these auctions are set up on eBay!

Berlin's performance at The Canyon Club show on New Years Eve will start promptly at 9:00PM.  There will be a DJ and Dancing following the concert and into the New Year.

I'm singing at a benefit for Step Up, an organization working to help fight breast cancer.  The concert will feature some amazing artists singing with Camp Freddy, an All-Star band of musicians featuring Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction), Matt Sorum (Guns N Roses, Velvet Revolver), Billy Morrison (The Cult) and Donovan Leitch.

Other artists scheduled are Macy Gray, Stephan Jenkins (Third Eye Blind), Cypress Hill and Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains).  I'll be singing The Metro with the band and a duet with Stephan Jenkins ("Feel Like Making Love").  My mother is going through breast cancer right now, so this is very important to me.  The concert is sponsored by Vanity Fair Magazine and will be at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles October 23rd and in New York on Thursday, October 21st.  The New York show will feature Camp Freddy with guest artists Lou Reed, The Roots, Fred Schneider (B52s) DJ Sky Nellor and host Kyra Sedgwick.  I hope you can come!

Berlin is excited to announce that they have been invited to play at this years KROQ INLAND INVASION on September 20th at the Hyundai Pavilion in Glen Helen, CA.
